Processing personal data from the feedback form
You can use this form to ask questions about cancer registration or screening and to give feedback to the Finnish Cancer Registry. The registry is an epidemiological research institute run by the Finnish Cancer Society and the operator of the statutory cancer register of the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
You do not need to provide personal data on the form. If a question you have concerns your own screening, we need information about your year of birth, which municipality you live in and the screening to which your question relates. If you would like us to reply to your question, we will also need your e-mail address. Providing your name is optional. The purpose of processing personal data is to answer your question and, if necessary, to provide you with feedback. The processing of personal data is based on your consent. If you do not give your consent to the processing of your personal data, you will not be able to send the data from the form to the Finnish Cancer Registry.
The information you provide on the form will be e-mailed to kysy@cancer.fi. The data you provide to the Finnish Cancer Registry will only be processed by people who are allowed to do so by virtue of their job. The processors are bound by confidentiality. The e-mail containing the information you provide on the form will be destroyed at the latest one week after your question has been answered or your feedback has been stored anonymously. The information you provide will not be supplemented from other sources. Personal data will not be disclosed to others or transferred outside the EU.
You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by contacting kysy@cancer.fi.

You can exercise your rights in the first instance by e-mail (kysy@cancer.fi). The Cancer Society of Finland will send a reply to the e-mail address you provide.
