The number of cancer cases by type of cancer can be fitted into one row by selecting “Wide table”.

The numbers are categorized according to to time intervals since cancer diagnosis. For example the 5-year survival includes only patients whose cancer has been diagnosed at most five years before particular time point (e.g. Dec 31th 2010 at the earliest when examining time point at Dec 31th 2015).

Relative survival describes the proportion of cancer patients alive after a certain period of time compared to the expected survival proportion based on mortality in the general population of the same age.
